StretchI-405 — Bothell West to Canyon Park
Between Bothell West and Canyon Park, I-405 heads southeast through residential neighborhoods in Snohomish County. It passes over SR 524 with no interchange of its own. Auxiliary lanes in its shoulder open to northbound traffic during limited periods, while southbound those lanes are kept for transit alone. The freeway then meets the Bothell–Everett Highway, a road that carries on north to Mill Creek under the name SR 527. That junction sits in the Canyon Park industrial area, next to a park and ride. The lot is the southern end of the line for the Swift Green Line, with a pedestrian bridge all its own. Beyond it, the freeway cuts through a wooded stretch beside North Creek toward the King County line. Bothell West, a census-designated place in Snohomish County, was home to 22,015 residents in the 2020 census. [1]
