Lake Dolloff, a eutrophic King County lake stocked yearly with rainbow trout, with public access on its southeast end.

Lake Dolloff lies in southern King County, inside the Lakeland North census-designated place. Star Lake is the other big water body there. Interstate 5 passes close by on the west side of Dolloff, and over on the far side of that freeway is Steel Lake. State Fish and Wildlife puts rainbow trout in every year. Crappie, bluegill, coastal cutthroat trout, largemouth and smallmouth bass, and yellow perch live there on their own. The lake collects runoff from a 518-acre watershed, and the nutrient levels stay high, which is why it gets labeled eutrophic. The southeast end has a parking lot open to the public and a spot for reaching the water. The King County Sheriff's Office runs a Lake Dolloff substation for the lake and the unincorporated areas nearby, refurbished in 2012. [1]
