ViewLake Geneva (Lake)
Sal is a voice that rides along as you drive Washington's roads: the road ahead, the pass, the stories of the places you pass.
Lake Geneva lies in the Lakeland South census-designated place, in the southern part of King County, Washington [1]. Houses and forest edge much of the water, and the park named for the lake takes the northeast shore, where there are fields for sports, paths through the trees, and a dock for fishing [1]. Lake Killarney is across the street from it [1]. Lakeland South contains other lakes as well, among them Lake Killarney, Fivemile Lake and Trout Lake [1]. The state Department of Fish and Wildlife keeps a boat ramp on the northwest shore [1]. Bluegill, largemouth bass and stocked rainbow trout are among the fish species there [1]. A special district manages the lake; its priorities take in noxious weeds, algae, water quality, waterfowl control, and the watershed and lake outlet [1].
